Amsterdams Marionetten Theater

Please note: The Amsterdam Marionette Theatre is a red building at the end of the street (coming from the Gelderse Kade). During performances and other events, you can recognise the building by the red city flags.

Public transport
The Amsterdam Marionette Theater is at a 8 – 10 min. walk from Central Station, Dam Square and Waterlooplein. Metro: Nieuwmarkt.
Walking from Central Station (8 min.): you take the Prins Hendrik Kade at your left. Then you turn right at the Geldersekade (a big canal); you take the left side of the water. The Nwe. Jonkerstraat is the third street on your left.

Parking
* 6 min. walking distance: Parking Oosterdok , Oosterdokskade (between Central Station and Public Library)
* 10 min. walking distance: Parking Waterlooplein / Opera House

Touringcars
* 3 min. walk: Parking Oosterdoksdam (Prins Hendrikkade, east of Central Station).
Walking from parking place Prins Hendrik Kade: opposite the exit of the parking place you enter de Buiten Bantammerstraat. Across the bridge you find the Lastageweg. The Nieuwe Jonkerstraat is at your right.

Other transport
The theater can also be reached by water; very festive is an antique cruise boat. We can give you some suggestions.
